A lot of businesses don't understand the impact of advertising and its effectiveness. The philosophy of design has the power to control the thoughts and reactions to anyone it reaches.

Colors can have subconscious emotional effects in the minds of the consumers whether they choose to realize it or not. If a simple picture of a hungry orphan can persuade millions of people to donate to your charity, imagine how much a business could grow with the right creative process applied to an advertising campaign. The power to influence the mass public to choose your business over others is an incredibly powerful tool that fascinates me.

I think that the effect of a good design is actually one of the most powerful tools in the world. Technically it’s mind control. An amazing accomplishment to a designer is to be able to effectively reach the emotions of the viewer, and to persuade that viewer to make a choice in their brain. Are you going to buy this product or not? Do you feel an urge to visit this place of business? Will you remember our brand? Will you dial this number? A good designer with a good creative process will greatly increase the chance of what the consumer chooses. That’s why it is so incredibly important for a business to hire the best available business to run ad campaigns. That’s why it is so incredibly important to advertise at all.

Street Corner Designers For Hire

A designer that can accomplish these things is not found on the street corner. They cannot be found in craigslist, and you won’t have any luck in the want ads or in your spammed email. A good designer has a good job at a good agency, period. Believe it or not, a lot of businesses question the difference between freelancers and professionals. This is one of the most ridiculously mind boggling things I have ever heard. If your car broke down, would you get some teenager from the internet to fix it? No. You would take it to a professional who knew how to fix it and was affordable, no questions asked. If your daughter broke a bone on the playground, would you take her to your cousin who says she is studying for her nursing degree? No. You would immediately take her to a hospital, no questions asked. Professionals are professionals for a reason. When I take my son to the hospital and see a doctor, I do exactly what the doctor says. He’s the doctor. I’m the dad. If I knew how to solve my son’s problem, I obviously wouldn’t be at the doctor in the first place. I don’t tell the doctor how to diagnose a patient, and I definitely don’t tell the doctor what medicine to prescribe. Why do less for your business?

i agree with you that design is the one of the most important factors in an ad. a simple design that is not cluttered that has a great copy can go a long way. i really think that going to a professional designer is a must, it's not like you would go to a cook for your accounting needs. lol
